Vic started out as a guitarist and bass player in the 80’s. He played in different sleaze, heavy metal and punkrock bands before he formed The Legacy in 1988. Now Vic started to take care of the lead vocals and The Legacy eventually transformed into Dawn of Oblivion in 1991.
Vic lists his main inspirators to be The Sisters of Mercy, The Damned, Gary Numan, New Model Army and Dimmu Borgir out of many different aspects such as visual appearence, vocals, landscape of sounds and stage performance.
He prefers to write the music to Dawn of Oblivion on guitar, but in many occasions songs have also been written on bass or keyboard. Vic uses Shure Microphones (SM58) and prefers Jackson, Ibanez or Fender guitars and BC Rich Basses.
Vic lists his favourite drinks to be Champagne, Beer and Single Malt Whisky. He’s a dedicated sports fan and rarely misses a good football (soccer) or ice hockey game.
