Stefan Rosqvist
...started out in the early 80s. He was checking out a guitar with 3 strings and got blown away by the sound (read noise)!
He lists his early influences as Ace Frehley, Gary Moore & Michael Schenker.
He got hooked on bands like Accept, Saxon, Ozzy, Ratt, Dokken, Van Halen, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Alcatrazz & Y&T, but he also fell in love with classical music and jazz.
"When I heard Yngwie Malmsteen for the first time it made a huge impression on me - classical sounding music played with a sweet, heavy guitar sound! Yngwie was a huge influence"
